As part of the Fermanagh Trust’s 20th anniversary celebrations a photo exhibition has been launched showcasing their work throughout the years.
The wide collection, which will be on display in Fermanagh House for the next month, covers an array of the Trust’s history including local grant making, shared education, the G8 Youth Summit, community support, report launches and even Royal and Presidential visits.
Frank McManus, Chairman of the Fermanagh Trust said “It is fantastic to start our 20th anniversary celebrations with this exhibition here in Fermanagh House. Fermanagh and the work of the community and voluntary sector has evolved since the Trust’s establishment in 1995. We hope this year’s celebrations, including the photo exhibition help capture the spirit of volunteerism in Fermanagh.”
Lauri McCusker, Director of the Fermanagh Trust added “Our exhibition celebrating 20 years of local giving in Fermanagh coincides with Philanthropy Fortnight, a programme of events supported by Giving Northern Ireland to help celebrate and encourage a culture of giving. The Fermanagh Trust with the support of so many across County Fermanagh and beyond has had a fantastic 20 years supporting some amazing people and initiatives. We are delighted to celebrate this milestone.”
