The Foundation provides financial support to young people who demonstrate exceptional commitment and/or ability in the world of sport but may be held back by their financial situation from pursuing their goals.
The Fund will accept applications from Individuals or Groups;
The applicants must be between 11 and 18 years of age and residents in Fermanagh or surrounding area;
Potential areas of support include:
- Bursaries to assist individuals develop their sporting potential
- Support sporting activities and events which will develop skills and potential in young people
- In exceptional circumstances the Foundation will provide financial support towards the provision of equipment to support a sport organisation expand their activities to increase levels of participation.
Those receiving bursary awards will receive a one-off payment paid directly by the Fund;
Grants will not be considered retrospectively.
The Administrators meet annually in November each year;
Priority will be given to those who in the opinion of the panel are in the greatest need of support;
The decision of the Administrators is final.
